Table Top Angus, a Stud and Commercial Beef Breeding Operation
Table Top Angus was established in 2000 when stud principles Tim and Jessica married after meeting at the Angus National Judging competition in which both competed.
Tim from an Angus breeding background in Henty NSW and Jessica from an Angus breeding background in Lucindale SA.
Table Top Angus continues to be a family run business and with a strong passion for Angus cattle, Table Top Angus has grown from 400 breeding cows to 1000, all the while maintaining their mantra.
Our Genetics
Major genetic influences which helped Table Top Angus grow include North American blood such as Scotch Cap, New Design, Future Direction and New Zealand genetics such as Maturi Reality.
Artificial insemination and embryo transplant continue to be a big factor in introducing new genetics in both the stud and commercial herds. New genetics being used in more recent times include Fireball, Command, Inertia and Intensity.
Commercial Bulls
Table Top Angus aims to produce bulls that are commercially relevant and can breed efficient, reproductive females and steers that will attract premiums in the market place.
Breedplan
Table Top Angus has been involved with Breedplan since the studs’ induction. Submitting required weights as well as scanning bulls and heifers annually.
